Description
Mizuno Wave Prophecy 13.2 - Black
The pinnacle of futuristic design and Japanese engineering. Replacing or stylishly evolving the brand's flagship silhouettes, the Mizuno Wave Prophecy 13.2 pushes the concept of high-end lifestyle sneakers even further. Designed for lovers of edgy urban fashion and technical looks, this monochrome black version imposes its dark, aggressive, and resolutely cyberpunk aesthetic.
The masterpiece of this pair remains its revolutionary sole equipped with the full Infinity Wave plate. This suspended and open structure not only offers unique mechanical cushioning in the world, but also gives the sneaker the look of a space capsule or robotic armor. Versatile in its color but radical in its design, it combines exceptional robustness with high-end comfort to walk the streets with a head start.
Details:
-
Infinity Wave Technology: The famous full-length open double plate sole, guaranteeing maximum shock absorption and infinite energy return.
-
Technical Upper: Upper combining ultra-breathable technical mesh with heat-sealed synthetic reinforcements for a light and protective structure.
-
Textured Finish: A play of matte and glossy textures on the black inserts, creating relief and depth despite the monochrome colorway.
-
Premium Support: Padded collar and precise lacing system offering a secure, enveloping slipper-like feel.
-
X10 Durability: Outsole featuring Mizuno's X10 carbon rubber, positioned in high-wear areas for maximum abrasion resistance.
-
Brand Details: Mizuno's Runbird logos subtly integrated on the side panels and heel.
Mizuno is a Japanese brand created in 1906 by Rihachi and Rizo Mizuno in Osaka, Japan. Initially, the two brothers were passionate about Western culture, particularly about this new sport that had just arrived from the United States on their land: baseball. They started selling baseball equipment. Gradually, the brand built its history with many other sports: judo, which holds a special place in the brand's history, athletics, and golf. Today, Mizuno specializes in sports equipment, footwear, and apparel (running, golf, tennis, judo, swimming, football...)
